Oh look! I illustrated a book! I had an awesome time working with the very talented Eric Pellerin and Manon Leroux on these illustrations. There are 36 in total and some fun icons. If you'd like to see them all I highly recommend picking up a copy of the book! It's beautifully written and totally fascinating. Right now it has only been published in French but it's totally worth learning a whole new language just to read, I promise!
If you'd like a list of local stores where you can buy a copy you can find one here.
If you'd like to order one online you can do so here.
These lovely pieces are on display at l’Écomusée du Fier Monde for their exhibit Citoyens – Hier, aujourd’hui, demain It's up until February 24th, 2013 in Montreal so go check it out! The history in that museum is pretty fascinating and it's also just a beautiful building! See some lovely pictures of the opening night below!
My self with the talented Eric Pellrin, who designed the exhibit and art directed the project.
All of the information is presented on these really awesome looking blocks that created the illusion of having continuous images when viewed from afar.
